Persian pop music refers to pop music with songs in the Persian language. Although Persian pop music originated in Iran, it quickly spread throughout Afghanistan, Tajikstan, and eventually America. Today, Persian pop music is popular throughout the world, especially in Tehran and Los Angeles.

Also, Persian pop music has enjoyed a renaissance in Tajikstan, being influenced by both Western techno music and some Indian styles. Some famous artists include:

- Sadriddin (sometimes spelt 'Sadruddin')
- Manija Dawlatova
- Rihana

I don't do social events like "Bataia cu perne a bloggerilor", "Votarea", "Diferite chestii legate de publicitate", "Acte de Caritate", "Cacaturi de awareness pentru lipsa stratului de ozon", "Reciclarea chestiilor de plaTSic sau harITe". Nu ca n-as avea cu cine. N-am chef si sunt totalmente anti-social si scarbit cand vine vorba de events de genul. De ex, acum cateva zile, Jean aka Jaded aka Iulia zicea de un event numit "1.99 sau ceva la schimb" unde te duceai sa faci nu-stiu-ce-exact-ca-nu-am-fost-foarte-atent-cand-am-citit. Oricum, eu unul nu m-as fi dus nici mort la asa ceva. I mean, what's the use? Getting to know people? Imi sunt suficienti si oamenii pe care ii cunosc. Cine stie de ce pocnitori oi da prin toate dubioseniile de baruri.
